WHAT IS A HOME INSPECTION?
A home inspection is a non-evasive, visual examination of the physical condition and systems of a home from roof to foundation. A home inspection will assess the condition of a property’s roof, foundation, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical work, water and sewage, and some fire and safety issues. In addition, the home inspector will look for evidence of water or fire damage or any other issue that may affect the value of the property. A home inspection is usually performed in connection with the selling of a home, for either buyer or seller. The main purpose of the home inspection is to provide the client with documented information concerning the condition of the home and to identify necessary repairs.
